...day 27...our flight plan
....pulling it all together....
....over the past 4 weeks, we have accumulated quite a list of tips/ hints/ ELITE "secrets"...
....to help get you/ your family/ friends/ co-workers, back "into the groove"...
...a quick review would include:
Heart Healthy Foods
Why you would drink H20?
Your sleep habits
Carbs=YOUR FRIEND (contrary to all the anti-carb hype!...)
Superfoods!...
Stretching...Walking...Antioxidants...Doctor Checkups...Supplements...Goal Setting
...that is alot to wrap your mind around if you are just getting started...
...as we are just about to face Mother Nature's toughest SEASON...
...it is time to make sure we have our direction set....
...let me give you an analogy...
...back in "the day"...I used to fly a little plane out of a flying school very close to "the box"...
...this little Diamond Katana (google it...it is ferociously tiny!)...was a dream to fly...
...and during the first few months of flight school, lessons, my solo...
...the information I "brought onboard"...was really only enough to get me through flying "the circuit"....( a little box formation at 2500 feet around the North-West part of Winnipeg)...
...one day, I had to plan a "cross-country" flight...now, this wasn't cross-country Nfld to BC- it is a term used to plan a flight using flight planning tools, maps, fuel estimates, weather reports, visual cues along the way...
...sitting in the "flight room" and planning this was daunting, charts, maps, fuel calculations...all of this information that I had been given...I realized was now all of the information that I HAD TO USE to complete a successful Cross-Country flight...and believe me, being in this little plane 3500 feet above terra firma by yourself...Success is really your only option!
...after an hour of planning, I realized that I was no-where near ready to make this flight happen...after 2 hours....I just started getting a handle on what needed to be done...by hour 4...my flight plan...the organization of all of the information that I had received was put into an order that I could wrap my head around and identify as my first "FLIGHT PLAN"...
...now, my "CROSS COUNTRY " flight....took me just over Portage la Prairie...and back...not that far...but it was a start...it was a great way for me to take the "bits and pieces" and turn it in to something that worked for me...and my little plane!
...as I landed this little (really, you need to see one to believe it!) plane...
...I realized that your successful flight does not only rely on a well honed physical connection with your plane...but also HOW WELL YOU CONSTRUCT YOUR FLIGHT PLAN.
...Hopefully, you have figured out your destination...
...read over your notes...
...used the information to create YOUR FLIGHT PLAN....don't rush...YOU DON'T WANT TO CRASH!...
...and as you take off on your journey...let me take the last few days of our 30 day blog-fest to keep your nose in the right direction...
Until next time ELITE NATION!
Onward and UPWARD!
Your pal,
fISH
