...day 19..."empty adjectives"...

...empty and full...

...we are constantly caught in an balance between the two adjectives above...

...a very wise man, just a couple of days ago, while in the clinic at EL1TE...
...was describing an interesting place...

...a place where a person is empty of physical capacities and full of satisfaction...
...and reciprocally...full of physical capacities and empty on satisfaction...

...for example...
...you are on a journey right now...

....it is probably a little tough here and there as we start to chug through our 3rd week...

....but...IF YOU ARE FULL OF ENERGY AND EMPTY ON GOAL SATISFACTION...
....you will find yourself easy to be motivated to achieve your 30 day "program"
....but...IF YOU ARE EMPTY OF ENERGY AND FULL ON GOAL SATISFACTION...
....you will find it nearly impossible to change...because you are spent and have conquered...

....let me give you an example...

....a good friend of mine, Joe Marcoux...of whom I think the world of...
....came to ELITE 21 months ago...
....about 18 months ago, he decided to dust off the posing trunks and jump back into the sport of bodybuilding...

...it has been a meteoric rise to the Nationals in which he will be competing in 72 hours...
...when he arrived 18 months ago....

....HE WAS FULL(ENERGY,DETERMINATION,TALENT) AND EMPTY(NEEDED A PHYSICAL GOAL)...

...he was so full that not only did he dominate NOVICE and PROVINCIALS this year...but also will bring a package into Nationals that is truly WORLD CLASS....

...now here is the road bump we are going to hit...in approx 96 hours...
...HE WILL BE EMPTY(ENERGY) AND FULL(GOALS ACHIEVED)...

...sure it is a great place to visit...periodically...
...but it is not anyplace that PERSONAL GROWTH occurs...

...often after a long battle with anything that drains us...and we come out the victor...(in whatever that means to you...a win...a finish...or as Joe has experienced...a series of dominations!)...

...Empty and Full is a good place to reflect from...
...it is another tool we can use to grow...

...let's remember...that once we use these tips to achieve whatever we are looking to conquer...
...and may be empty AND full...
..life gets interesting when we are FULL AND EMPTY...

...it is not a destination...it is the journey...

...and on that note...I would like to thank Joe Marcoux who won Provincial Classic Bodybuilding Medium Height Class, Masters and Welterweight....and best poser...and John "Dexter" Wintrup who won Provincial Classic Tall Class...for allowing me to be a part of your journey...best of luck at Nationals this weekend...from all of ELITE NATION!!!

Until next time ELITE NATION,
Onward and Upward,
your pal,
fISH

    To the Elite Nation:
This Journey that fISH speaks of is ongoing.
I admit that it has been the hardest thing I've ever done, and it is gratifying to know that Hard Work Pays Off!
I can't say enough about all of you. I feel the Elite Nation with me on every rep and every meal. Today, I am full of gratitude. To my good friend and mentor fISH, Shauna Stevenson my wing-girl, my 2 daughters and you, my friends.
I'm looking forward to taking the time to enjoy the journey. I will be taking the time to reflect and bask in the sunshine, to recover and get re-stoked for Natural Nationals in April!!!
My thoughts are already on that Pro Card and World Qualifier.
    Stay Hungry!!!!
