...after spending tens of thousands of hours working with thousands of people...
...the box's time has finally come...
...born in the late fall of 1997...to three youngsters with an idea of what Performance Training should look like..
...Derek McCormack, Wade Miller and Jeff Fisher opened the doors of 337 Collegiate to the athletes of Winnipeg...
...over it's long life..."the box" has not only been the training partner of some of Canada's greatest athletes...
...such as Milt Stegall, Doug Brown, the RWB and countless other pro's from World Champion Curlers to Adventure Athletes...but has changed the lives so many people who have decided to "believe in the magic"...
...never blessed with size or air conditioning...the box's magic was borne from the passion and love of many it's staff and clients...the box was witness to many births, marriages...and many, many champions during her life...
...the box leaves many thousands of mourners with it's timely passing....
...however..."the box" does leave something beyond memories of past performances...
...the box has allowed the NATION to evolve to the next level of ELITE...
...as of Monday, May 2...the box....sweat stained floors and quaint...will fade into the memories of us all...
...DON'T BE SAD BECAUSE IT'S OVER...BE HAPPY BECAUSE WE ALL GOT TO BE PART OF IT!!!

The box will always hold a special place in my heart. I've achieved so much there and met many awesome and inspiring people and I can honestly say that Elite changed my life forever. I can still remember the first day I stepped foot in the box (and used the wrong door!) and will keep with me many many great memories and experiences. However, for me the Elite experience is not about the box, it's about the people. I'm really excited for everyone who will experience Elite in its new surroundings!
