...in Canada, it is Thanksgiving Long-Weekend....where rushing off to relatives and friends to devour a bird and a plate of carbs is the norm...
...sure, we talk about it...being thankful...but do we really show it...

...thankful for health, family and friends...for sure, but is devouring a bird and rushing around the way to do it?

...well, on Friday evening down at the box...one of our clients mom's showed up unannounced and asked to speak with me...

...thinking something was wrong...I dropped my duties and went to the front to be surprised by a huge grin...

...Her son had been with us for a number of months for a tricky ankle condition that threatened his College Scholarship and Soccer Career...

...instead of the "hey fISH, can you..."....I was greeted to a huge hug and....

..."Shea just won player of the game at UBC last game and knowing it was Thanksgiving weekend....I came down to ELITE to show you how thankful I am..." WOW...(she lives an hour away!)

...that beats the ritual of just bird and carbs anytime...

...ELITE NATION...how about this Thanksgiving, calling or stopping by someone you are THANKFUL for and telling them how much they mean to you...and really "let it fly"...SHOW IT...really love them up!

...Well folks, as I pack up the fam and head out to the lake for the day....for bird and carbs (with some really great folks)...I would like to tell each of you how THANKFUL and proud I am to be part of your world and the NATION...
