...back to basics...

...if you have been at the box in the last few days...you may have noticed I have been M.I.A...
...only from the box...not from ELITE...
...it is that time of the year, cleats come out, eye black goes on and the smell of freshly ground turf mixes with sweat and effort...

...FOOTBALL SEASON...

...with two camps this week...ELITE'S CFL LEGENDS... running on Tuesday and Wednesday...with instructors Bob Cameron and Troy Westwood...and Bomber Long-Snapper Chris Cvetkovic participants were treated to an experience that will be tough to forget...one on one coaching by the LEGENDS!!!

...and on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons/ evenings...the Obby KHAN-Doug BROWN Camp- with 70 Participants and 22 of Manitoba's Top Coaches has been a run-away success...4 days of training, coaching, guest speakers, nutritional support and good times...lots of challenging drills, athetic development and great kids (14-17 yrs old) testing themselves...

...with these camps- comes work..you know...hands on, roll up your sleeves type of work...you know, getting BACK TO THE BASICS...

...REMEMBERING what got you to "where you are" is GREAT STUFF...

... and it reminds you that it has nothing to do with luck...it is due to HARD WORK, an overdeveloped competitive edge and a PASSION for doing it...

...what does getting "BACK TO BASICS" mean for you?..is it hard work, commitment...what is the foundation to your life? passion?

...figure it out...

...these last 4 days, have been a challenge...with a couple of 24 hour stretches of work in a row being done...but... it reminded me of where all of this started and allowed me to really appreciate what ELITE NATION has become...

...and, really when I look at it in retrospect....that has become my "game"...

Until next time ELITE NATION,
Onward and upward,
your pal,
fISH
