...dog days of summer...winning entry...

...As promised, after reading MANY submissions we have selected one...it was tough...but here it is...from an old friend, Lyhn Gordon.  Not only a mom, wife of former NFL/CFL great Bobby Gordon but our first PRO figure model. Back in 1997-1999! ...

Fish,
Thanks for putting out the challenge. After a couple of weeks off (I am a school teacher in Oregon now) and just "feeding" my own needs, I decided to give back to some of the people around me. WITH THE PEOPLE AROUND ME.
Firing up the BBQ for some grilled fish tacos, if I remember those are your favorite, I invited 20 of my closest friends, family and co-workers over to the house.
After a brief address to the group, I had rallied all of us to the point where we agreed to 4 consecutive weekly outings.
Week 1- Each of us bring a close friend or relative that needs some physical exercise and we are going for a mini-hike through  Forest Park. 40 of us in total.
Week 2- More challenging- a 20 mile bike ending off with a cool dip and fish-dinner with a 10.00 cost (all donated to Big Brothers and Sisters Oregon)
Week 3- A group volunteer session with Big Brothers-Sisters (already arranged and 20 committed)
Week 4- A camping weekend with two activity days. A spelunking (sp?) trip and next day a rafting trip.
As your, or THE NATION grows, the energy has crossed borders and boundaries to change the lives of many who will never see or be at the box.
Thanks to all of the athletes who have carried on the Elite tradition of excellence.  I was one of Fish's first figure clients. His first pro!
Lyhn Gordon

Thanks for the letter and though you do not live in the city any longer, let me cover all of your friends backs with ELITE t's for your rafting trip.  Thanks for your energy...the NATION CONTINUES TO GROW!

Until next time ELITE NATION.
Onward and upward,
your pal,
fISH
