...over the last 4 months, we have handed out the ASSASSIN shirts, to those who have earned them with amazing performances, contest participation or finally reaching a fitness goal...

...I wrote a blog back in March, introducing the ASSASSIN Project...a "ELITE HALL OF FAME", if you will.  A way to recognize a truly extraordinary accomplishment..and folks...WE HAVE OUR FIRST ASSASSIN...

...you may know him by his ELITE moniker, MVP...but we also know him as BRENDAN O DONNELL...a youngster, who, rolled into ELITE 3 1/2 years ago...with a goal of PLAYING IN THE NHL...a goal that he wrote down on his first application papers down at yonder box...

...well, last week , MVP, aptly named for reasons like...  capturing the MJHL's top rookie award, won a Silver medal while representing Canada West at the 2009 World Junior A Challenge and racked up 5 pts in the 2009 CJHL Top Prospects game and took home player of the game... and just like Jonathon Toews committed to UND Hockey Program .....

WAS DRAFTED IN THE 6TH ROUND BY TAMPA BAY LIGHTNING....

... CONGRATS TO BRENDAN...AND IF THAT WAS NOT ENOUGH...BRENDAN ALSO RECEIVES A LIFETIME ELITE FEE REDUCTION OF 25%....2 BOX TICKETS TO THE EVENT OF HIS CHOICE AT MTS CENTER AND 100.00 DONATED IN HIS NAME TO THE CHARITY OF HIS CHOICE...

...PROVING TO EVERYONE ONCE AGAIN...THERE IS NOTHING THAT TAKES PLACE OF HARD...AND CONSISTENT WORK!

Update on ELITE...

Well it was no surprise that the first BEACH FOR LIFE TOURNAMENT OF THE YEAR...finals came down two teams of two...who all live in the NATION...the lovely Kristine Johnson and partner Muriel edged out Rachel Cockrell and Taylor Pishke in the finals... (congrats to all 4 of you who have graced the box recently) while Dane Pishke and LJ Montgomery won the men's side...great job!

D. Burkette won his first cart-race of the season...watch for this youngster...no kidding..."eye of the tiger"...good job...I am looking forward to typing your name many more times in this blog!

With a crazy week of performances and training being put to bed and a fresh month just starting...I am looking forward to all of the GOOD that will creep in over the next 30 days...

...eat well, train hard...and never let your eyes off the prize...life is too short!
